Don't mean to highjack your discussion, but here is a photo of our company tow truck. As you can tell, we don't have much of a budget to work with at our school district. Believe it or not, it gets used a couple of times/month. Starts right up every time.

Well, I finally moved up to an 18 wheeler end dump rig. Hauling is just a part-time job for me, as I am supposed to be retired. I set a very low budget number and shopped a long time to find an older tractor and trailer in good shape at a fairly low price. The truck is a 1993 FLD Freightliner...

I am going to look at a 1993 Mack truck tractor tomorrow. The seller says it has a super 10 transmission. I am not familiar with that model transmission. Can someone enlighten me on it? Thanks, Jeff
