This for the DIY installer.
The 15" clutch can be dropped with the transmission and installed with the transmission. The 14" cannot be done this way. After removing all of the air lines
drive line, shift tower, oil cooler lines and clutch linkage and before you remove the bell housing bolts that mount the transmission to engine.
DO NOT REMOVE THE BELL HOUSING BOLTS AT THIS POINT.

Remove the clutch inspection cover from the transmission, Using a baring tool turn the engine over till you see two clutch mounting bolts. Using an extension
And 5/8 socket remove those bolts, bar engine to the next bolts remove those, bar engine till all 8 bolts holding clutch to flywheel are removed.
Slide trans jack under and support transmission, NOW YOU CAN REMOVE THE BELL HOUSING BOLTS. Once bolts are removed you can pull transmission
back at least 8" and down. The clutch will be supported by the input shaft. You will see how simple it is once the trans is out from under the truck.

When installing the new clutch slide the pressure plate onto the input shaft and hook the shift fork over the throw out bearing and rotate the clutch fork
shaft to pull the pressure plate all the way back till it stops. Using a paint pen mark and install the clutch drive disc's and intermediate plate in there
correct positions.
Installation is in reverse order, bolt up trans to bell, Then install clutch bolts running them down a little at a time. It will take several complete rotations
baring the engine over to install the clutch mounting bolts. Torque bolts to 55 Ft Lbs. Install clutch linkage and adjust the clutch. Then finish the rest.

I have been installing the 15" clutch this way since it came on the market. Way faster less chance of screwed up drive plates from trying to shove the
input shaft through the two hubs. The only thing to line up is the pilot bearing and that always goes right in.

The only time to not do it this way is when you break an input shaft then there is nothing to support the clutch. If that happens remove trans first then
unbolt clutch from flywheel.
