This was the remains of the bunk heater when I accessed it, same fate as seat supports and seat belt anchors, anything steel inside the cab floor area had succumbed as anode to the aluminum structure.

Parts to be in at KW after noon today, have acquired black bulk rubber floor mat from Fehr Cab Interior(Farm Tractor materials) out of IL for side compartments and a roll of foil backed 3/4" closed cell foam for around bunk HVAC from Design Engineering actually Under Hood insulation but should work well in this. Isolation solenoid valve should also be in today to finish install of A-coil. Photos later.

Box Populated for bunk HVAC, lid on and all in the sleeper parts to finish then the resistor stabs for the blower break free, that has to come out. As for insulation and floor mat in sleeper that is completed. Been awaiting Fiber Washers from Cat to check Protrusion that came today!! This weekend will be fast and furious. The wiper parts are slipping together SLOWLY, have one wellnut to change on a bracket and one in firewall to complete that, then the NEXT terd to hit the floor, the bottom floor of cab HVAC box fell off onto shop floor, just had to pick that rust scab a little hard and Blap, On the Floor!! That is ordered as a assembly and should be here Friday as well.

Been a while, made significant progress. Head is back on as is oil pan. Bunk heater blower and solenoid function is back as replaced the missing relay in the control panel. Got one of TWO know to exist remaining in the US relays and the other one sold Same Day. Ordered and received the Single Turbo kit, still have to order exch. replacement injectors to get to a runable mechanical state. Moved work table where in process of cleaning floor up to clear some space and to make work area more sustainable.

Bad news Friday, had taken my "6NZ replacement processor to the Local CAT dealership for a reflash to a pertinent engine code. Well would you know it got sold a pig in a poke, more or less poked and no pig for a C'12' processor NOT a 6NZ as denoted on the Fleabay ad.

Dropped seller a line, explained HE can call the cat dealer it is at if so chooses and gave him location, I am seriously UNHAPPY and still quite angry as basically got shafted with a SHAM deal. Can buy a used C12 ECM for around $300, not the $800 he stuck me for this one.

Can still use the processor, HOWEVER, will have to be Deleted of all programming and a CAT Corporate 'Purchase' of a parameters Program to Re-program the processor IF they will even sell it to the dealer. Per the shop foreman, "Gonna Cost some REAL Money".

Processor came back, Cat discounted many of the initially quoted Fees so was actually a bargain. Got that back and installed, been working on the harness corrections to 6NZ where now need the Deutsch Plug kit I have awaiting in OK where I need to take the old Chevy Dump Truck!!!

Engine is essentially fully assembled down to valve covers, air charge cooler remounted with a new AC Condenser, also need to achieve battery cores to swap for the four replacement batteries I need so can roll the engine and validate upper end oiling, cranking oil pressure or will just break down and deal with core charges. Battery Cables are complete to the box where am still trying to determine why NONE of the cab alarm system is working. Managed to get the air line undercab snarl remedied and base exhaust assembled so will be out from under cab on initial start and working on final interior clean then exterior polish of fuel tanks to rehang and get the fuel system primed for that start. DA Paper is NOT lasting very long where have to restock to go further.
