Any one using electronic inspections ??

Former employer told us that they were investigating a hand held reader that you has to click on different bar codes stickers or decals everyday to electronically prove you actually got on the ground to look . Not sure how it worked but just wondering if that's happening any where .

My wife used to use them when she drove a school bus, she did a real inspection every day even before the company invested in them, but I always thought it would be easy to walk around and hit every spot without actually checking anything.

Apparently if you check things too quickly you'll get in trouble too cause they know you're not checking.

Company died before they ever got close to doing that deal but I wondered how that would work if a guy on 10 degree below day and near blizzard conditions . If the reader would still work . Also if a guy got lazy and had stickers in a book to scan .

Sounds like an updated version of the old Watchclocks used in security.
