I've never been as soaked as I was that day. I was actually concerned my phone and camera would be damaged

I just realized the Sightliner is just a Loadstar cab with a panel with windows in it replacing the firewall. They just set it on a base.

ATHS Show Ballston Spa, New York 9-21-13

Here's a bunch of pics I managed to take yesterday while attending the show. I took my 1963 Autocar hooked to the 1966 Fruehauf, with the 1973 Transtar on it.

Had a little tragedy the night before the show, almost didn't end up going. I was loading the Transtar on the trailer (backing it on,) and it barely fits anyway. I was tired after a 14 hour workday, getting dark...I was almost on when I dropped the right front wheel off the trailer and all but tipped the truck over onto my parked propane tanker. I assessed the situation, then commensed to jacking and blocking for an hour, and built a temporary ramp alongside the trailer ramp out of planks...got the ramp under the tire and gently drove back off. By that time, I had enough and went inside for the night. Saturday morning I completed the task of chaining and went on to Ballston Spa to enjoy the day there.

Here's a few pics.

(Can't load pics...says "invalid files..." Too tired tonight to mess around, I'll try again some other night, sorry.

Now that was an interesting vid …… Now seeing that Binder going by on your bed, in the Vid Lowboy, Picture the same Transtar,(wheelbase) only a tandem, with a 370hp green leaker under the cab, in front of a 12513 direct …… gives a whole new meaning for a screaming jimmy when its under your butt …… cause that woulda been one of the first long haul trucks I drove … Bang Crash Thump all the way down I-5 ….LOL….. Ahhh the Memories !
