Class 5 Dump

I'm starting to plan for the purchase of a Class 5 dump at work for next year. It will be used to haul material and move equipment and will stay inside a 7 mile radius for the majority of its life. I'm thinking gas engine, auto trans, 2 wheel drive and aluminum body. I've looked at Ford and Dodge, I don't think GM offers a Class 5 chassis. I think IH came out with one a few years ago but I don't know much about it. All the trucks in my department are green and it doesn't seem as though Ford offers that color for some reason. I'm open to suggestions or opinions you can offer.

I can certainly understand wanting to stay with gas. Is cabover out of the question? I see you can get a Chevy LCF 4500 with 6 liter but that's as big as it gets and not sure about the color. Maybe go heavier on Ford with the 650? Looks like you can get the V10 and in green.

I have to stay under CDL with the truck, I'm the only one in the department who has one. Does the 650 do that? Added capacity would be a plus

It appears the 650 proloader is just under CDL at 26,000GVWR. So as long as you keep the trailer under 10k You should be good with no CDL. All other models above the 650 proloader are higher than 26K.
