What I use on Peterbilt encapsulated windshields to ease installation is the Napa brand Sil-Glyde. I smear the the rubber channel
with it and rope it and it will slide into place real easy. I've seen several broken on installation by glass or windshield installers,
even witnessed a body shop brake the glass. Soapy water just doesn't cut it. Pete glass can be a bitch to install. IMO
