Engine swap C-13 to 3406E

Any body know if it would be too much work to swap out a C-13 for a 3406E in a T800 Kenworth? I have 8 T800's and like the 3406E the best of the electronic engines, I see there are getting to be alot of T800's out there with blown C-13's which I have always heard were junk. Any insite would be appreciated.

Would be some work, but nothing out of the ordinary. engine harness to cab would need to be replaced, possibly the computer as well. We just swapped out a black top cummins for a Celect plus and all we changed was the harness and computer. everything else fell into place

I have swapped a KCB C-13 out of a 2005 T-800 and installed a 6TS 3406E. The major issues were moving engine mounts, drive line length, getting coolant, air intake and charge air pipes to line up. Also the p/s pump turns a different direction, you won't get away with using the pump from the C-13 (ask me how I know :) ). Also the project I worked on was kind of a nightmare from switching from a 70 pin ECM back to a 40 pin ECM. If I were to do it again, I would update the engine to a 70 pin system.
