Remanning the New box is still BY FAR less expense than buying the materials to build new. The end caps are available at $300 EACH End, would have to order the floor and essentially do as I am with the used box. A NEW KW Style box using OEM KW Ends is $1600 and Change.

Tool box lid mounting holes lined up Just Fine!! So on to the Battery box just bought. Started by Squaring the WELL out of line Left side panel, had been Bolted(Almost) and welded so cut weld repositioned and redrilled. Figured where the Retainer stud brackets needed to be then drilled pilot holes, NOTHING as to drillings on the New box were anywhere near to where needed to be. Pilot holes set then welded up the old holes will dress these out, complete drilling new holes and test fit the lid.

Will be my last post on this tonight for awhile, may not ever happen. Every point of ready to haul has gotten blocked, barred by illnesses, structured other work on Both ends, weather, and haul truck availability. JY has tried, busted his hump to get something working and here we sit no project here. Weather is setting in for next weekend, Heavy Rains, dropping temps on Friday, maybe Snow on Saturday, bitter cold coming Sunday. So winter is officially here and I am as usual a Day Late Dollar Short to getting this further than a dream. May pack it all back up as age is steadily creeping in and I am running out of days for this, may end up take it all back to OK and say Done before I really got started.

Well I lied as to Final post. Today I finished configuring the two boxes and now all I have left is cleaning around the shop and home errands. Chalk mark is on the floor.

Just off the phone with JY, tomorrow is big day, been a barrel of woes on his end and with other issues was going to be Sunday then that bombed where HAS to be tomorrow. So, has a Different Haul wagon, may only have room and HP for ONE return machine so I just set my goose to the old rust ball Ford and may pair up to haul Ass to OK with the Other truck for him.

Your progress looks great! It would be a shame to quit. This ridiculous lockdown has a lot of people bummed, myself included. I'll encourage you to keep at it, it's a diversion for both you and those of us following.

ITS HERE!!

What a Comedy of errors getting it OFF the trailer. JY has a Telehandler, I am stuck with a 2wd Farm Tractor!! EVEN with maxi's caged front brakes would not let go, lower shoes welded to drums and spiders. Is at least INSIDE the shop and door is down. Hood has to come off next, then can do as need. LP GMC is headed for a New Home.
