Just pics from work of some of Iron I drove . On the trailer were a ramp from KCI airport being relocated . Random precast cell site building , and the crane house for a 718 Link Belt

Now there's a site you don't see much or any more ! ….. an Aardvark with a flatdeck … LOL ….. I remember when they first hit the market … I think was around '84-'86 ….. Up here if it had anything more than a 350 anything, it was a candidate for over heating …. those rads were just way too small ….. but the hindsight of it all …LOOK at the revolution they started with trying to integrate aerodynamics with fuel milage …. Ahhh those days Ehh Tiny!!

CRAFT, I haven't heard the term Aardvark, or anteater for that matter for quite some time now. I still remember the gasps from drivers when they first came on the scene.

I know I was there and seen those faces !!!! ………. LOL ……things like …."Who would be so Stupid to by one of those" ….Pass me another beer !!! …..LMFAO

I was one of those faces , the 600s were ugly as far as I was concerned but after I drove one I changed my mind

Yeah, I hated to have to drive one of the KWs with the long hood and high dash, felt like I couldn't see at all after getting out of an R model, or better yet, an F, but I still thought the 600s were uglier than a dog's behind.

I didn't drive one untill they had been out a few years, but they are far and away more pleasant to drive than a W900.
