losted all dash gages checked lots of things fuses in dash breakers ..ground to cab relay in dash ..all checked out as far as I know any other idea's ???

Haven't worked electrical on a Pete in a few years. There should be a fuse box in the left kick panel down by your feet. Have you checked there.
You might remove the screws that hold the fuse box in place and check wire connections on the back. I know the headlight terminals for the relay going into
the box and others will get hot and cook. We had a fair amount of trouble on the 2001's the company owned. Maybe someone else will chime in too.

The 242 wire is instrument power that goes to switched accessory in fuse box, Which is fed power via 304 wire and that goes to Main accessory relay in fuse box.
The 239 wire is instrument grounds, the 253 wire is instrument lights. Check that accessory relay and switched accessory fuse. And the instrument ground wire.
Check for power at accessory relay also.

MAN Thanks so much this is just what I needed ...ill have to change some things around I viewed this trend to late ..I ran a wire from a live wire in the dash to volt meter and the dash lit up ..thanks so much guys ...ill try the 242 wire
