just registered this am, just a truck and equipment buff. I work in emergency services.

Welcome to the forum. You should fit right in, I spent 21 years in emergency services. I was captain of an FD rescue company the last ten of it, (as a volunteer), and 4 years as a career paramedic shift supervisor for a county EMS system. Before and While working for EMS, I was an engine company officer as a volunteer.

I think Steve has a pretty good bit of FD time too, and I think there are at least a few others on here.
