Hello folks! This looks like a good site. I've been working class 8 truck repair for 43 years. I help take care
of a truck fleet. I have a lot of repair tips gathered through the years, maybe it will help someone.
I was also an O-O at one time, 66 narrow nose with a 1964 52" mercury sleeper, 400BCIII pumped, 13sp, SQ100's.
My hobbie when my hands don't hurt is drawing pen and ink antique trucks, which I will post if I can find the right
place to put them.

Thank you all----mike

Thanks for joining us! Sorry about the troubles last night. I'd love to see your drawings, they would fit in either "Old Iron", "TGIF" or "Models & Miniatures", whichever is your pleasure.

Truck shop, did that '66 narrow nose happen to be a bright orange KW with a polished stainless Mercury sleeper? I remember that one well from the early 80s.

No, I remember the one your thinking of. Mine was a Pete, blue and the sleeper was one of the first mid roof stand ups. I was the second owner.
A guy named Pasco was the original owner.

That's interesting. My brother was best buddies with David Pasco, and I used help his dad once in a while in 1979 or so, he had a 8V-92 powered Frieghtliner conventional at that time. First 92 I ever got to drive. The orange KW was driven by a high school friend of mine for a while in '83-'84. And last but not least, around the same time I was running a GMC 9500 with a 2 tone brown/gold paint job with an 8V-71 and a Meritt 40' double hopper hauling grain to the Tri cities barge docks. The GMC had a chrome nose and dual stacks with aluminum wheels up front. Last I saw she was sitting in a yard in Dayton Wa.

I think were talking about two different Pasco's. The only truck Amil Pasco had at the time was the pete. And his son's name is Larry, and
he owned a W900A with a cummins. And they lived by Cle Elum.

My bad, The Pascos I knew were in Pasco Wa. But I do remember Emil? Pasco on the door of a truck or 2.
