I use to drive this one, a trip a week from Ellensburg, Wa. to L.A. or San Diego. I drove it when it was brand new. This pic was taken at
the Dunnigan rest area north of Sack of Tomatoes. A model 400 Cat with a 00 15 speed

I ran an identical W900 with blue paint and a strong 8V92 for a while in 1980-81. We may have passed on I-5 a few times. I hauled a lot of boxed potatoes south and whatever we could fit in a van back north. I hated box spuds... 2 to 5 drops per load sometimes.

Most loads went to Raley's or Lucky's supermarkets going south but the loads north were for Safeway and most were alway's 4 to 5 pickups.
Rarely would there be a straight load, the only times that would happen was when it was a light load of cut flowers or wine.
