Used to see those Internationals all over Eastern Wa. In fact in the mid 70s, my grandfather had two with dumpboxes. Almost all had 8v71s and a 5x4 setup. I drove one in 1980 that had the Detroit with a Spicer SST 16 speed... start in the right main gear and you could out run most any other truck at a stoplight. Funny, I think most every one of those "Binders" I saw had Woodpecker stickers on them. I know that's where Gramps got his.

Woodrow sold alot of those that went to the basin area. He leased a ton of them too. You could get a sun burn setting behind that glass. I remember that
the big complaint was how hot the cab could get, and noisy.

Short hoods were the worst with half the engine in the cab with you. Hotter and even noisier. Kinda like my old GMC 9500 with the 8V-71, it put the left exhaust manifold right next to your right foot.

I don't remember ever seeing this model in person, only in pictures. It looks like it might share the cab with their cabover from that era.
