Overhead Procedures for L10E Cummins

I've got a 1990 L10e cummins, serial #34640147. I am trying to find the overhead setting procedure for this engine. This engine is too old for cummins quickserve to have the manual online. Called Cummins tech support and they told me they don't have access to that information but gave me the number to a dealership that should. Called the dealership and they proceeded to give me the valve lash which I already had since it was on the data plate on the side of the valve cover. They then told me they didn't have the actual procedures and directed me to another shop who told me they were not allowed to give out specs. I know the firing order is 1,5,3,6,2,4 and I have top stop injectors. I really just need to know in what position do I set which valves and in what position do I set which injectors, and how are the injectors set (pretty sure they are supposed to be set at 6 in-lbs but not positive). Thank you

I'm at home at the moment, but when I get to work today I'll look that up in the manual and post it for you.

Ok, for starters this engine should be an external damper L10 and there should be marks "A", "B" and "C" on the face of the accessory drive pulley.
like in this picture.

Rotating the engine in a clockwise direction you would start on the letter "A", the intake and exhaust valves on cylinder 1 should be loose, if not check cylinder 6 for looseness and verify top dead center for that cylinder. You can start on cylinder 6 first if your at top dead center there. After adjusting both intake and exhaust valves rotate the engine in a clockwise direction to the next letter on the pulley "B". If you started on cylinder 1 then the next on in sequence would be cylinder 5. If you started on cylinder 6 then the next in sequence would be cylinder 2.

"A" Cylinder 1 TDC adjust intake and exhaust valves on cylinder 1
"B" Cylinder 5 TDC adjust intake and exhaust valves on cylinder 5
"C" Cylinder 3 TDC adjust intake and exhaust valves on cylinder 3
"A" Cylinder 6 TDC adjust intake and exhaust valves on cylinder 6
"B" Cylinder 2 TDC adjust intake and exhaust valves on Cylinder 2
"C" Cylinder 4 TDC adjust intake and exhaust valves on cylinder 4

It is important to note that on the "Celect" engine you would adjust the injector at the same time you would adjust intake and exhaust valves on their corresponding "letter" set point. When adjusting the injectors loosen the adjustment lock nut and carefully run the adjustment to the bottom at least two or three times to remove all fuel from the injector, then carefully run the injector adjustment to the bottom of the stoke and back off the adjustment 120 degrees (two wrench flats) then torque the injector locknut. I believe the intake spec is .016 and the exhaust is .027.

just out of curiosity what is this engine in? Ford L9000? I ask because my books don't list the celect engine in anything before 1993. With that being the case I would have to change much of the information I have given you.

I am currently reassembling a lta 10. How do I find if its a celect model? Its a 89 freightshaker dump truck.number on block tag is :34564138. Last six vin are 351615. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
