I have mentioned my next younger brother before in my posts and how talented (and rich) he is.He sold his sheet metal shop (Merrimack Sheet Metal) in New Hampshire and retired a few years ago.I would not think that you would have to turn a wrench but I don't blame you for doing it.Please keep sharing your talent with us,I cannot imagine anyone getting to your skill level,it is very humbling. Thanks,Ron G

That Mack looks like a B-75.I used to drive one when mixer duty was slow to haul sand and stone for the concrete plant and that old 673 would start to bark about 1300/1400 rpm and I confess.....lol.....I loved that sound.Only just a little though,I would get shift to get it above 1500.It only had a single stack though,a long one. What lovely work, thanks.Ron G

Your right Ron that is a B-75, It was setting in Hermiston, Or and just a gutted hulk when I drew that one. Plus I reduced the top of the cab
to make it look lowered. I know where there is a 1956 B-61 with 220K total miles, setting three miles from my house. It has a long wheel
base and is cummins powered. The cab is very straight.

I gotta say that there probably was never a hotter cab in the world than those old B models but noone realized it until Mack changed the cab styles in the late '60s.Ventilation???Whats that?LOL.The Maxidyne with the straight pipe was the cure for us gearheads, the turbo had a sticker on it that said "silencing device" in case you ever got stopped for excessive noise.Ron G

crop0005.JPGHere is a pic of that B-75 taken back in the '60s.You will see it on the line there with a Heil frameless dump trailer behind it.I wish I had taken more pics back in those days but all I had for a camera was too good to carry in that evironment or so I thought.
These days cameras are throwaway and no film.Ron G

I had heard that before about the old Macks being a cooker. The Freightliner COE was a freezer I know that for a fact.

I've spent hours and hours to get to this point or level of art work. I don't fish or hunt and could care less about sports. And even If people don't care
for my art work, it brings me happiness. And because I have trained myself to scrutinize things, the guys I work with in the shop hate it because I'm
always finding work to do- Something doesn't set right or things don't line up-angles are off. Drives them nuts.

The other thing is people only know how to do things like my art work electronically any more, It's instant gratification now days. And that is sad:(

Thanks-Truck Shop
This is what I'm talking about!

There is not much comment I could make here that would properly justify the subject as it is presented to me as my handwriting is so crude.I always print because that is about the only way anyone can read it at all.I made delivery tickets for years and commend my drivers for being able to read them.
My partner has excellent writing and an appreciation for it developed over the years.I worked for a construction company whose mother did the book keeping and it was a joy to read her writing on payday. My lady will be watching your vid, thanks.Ron G

I love your art work. Also, really appreciate posting pictures of our industry back in the day. Truck Shop, if you would ever consider doing a drawing of my set up, I would gladly pay for your time and talent. The drawings have so much more character and class than a photograph. The time, attention to detail, and skill are evident.

Thanks, Dave. A nice drawing is something I would treasure. In the old folks home I can show it to the old ladies and see if it gets me any action.

You know I haven't done any major art work since 07. So yes I will be glad to give it a go. The longest stretch I went without drawing was 14 years.
Just had no reason I guess, It's something you have to feel like doing. I will send you a PM.

My lady friend and partner of 25 years watched your Wimp vid and was impressed. She changes her writing styles on a whim and sometimes back slants and after a few months does a forward slant just because she can. They all look good.I used to write in grade school but all I dare to do these days is print. And then I can't read it after it's 3 days old.We are all gifted however and I have been blessed with other talents,at least until my wrists contracted carpel tunnel that have been the envy of Atkins fans for many years.I can understand your having to have the motivation to do your artwork and hope I am around to see the results.Ron G

A few more Pete's and a street rod that I rendered in 1988. The low rider Peter Car was just dreamed up.

Thanks--but if that were to happen the producers would have to bleep 3/4 of what I would say. I have a tendency to talk to iron on most days.

And that's a fact Oxbow. The 52 Pete below was a day cab two axle that I saw at a truck show. The 50 KW is the dark blue one setting in the row of
Old heifers thread under Kenworth.
