Yea, I'd agree the damage to the wheels justifies withholding payment. Make sure you take pictures of the damage, if he takes you to court he may end up owing you a new set of wheels!

I can't get over the effort your putting in this! I don't think I'd ever be able to load a machine on it with it looking like this!

Here is the re painted lowboy. It is currently at my home awaiting some 2" white oak sawmilled flooring. I also have a replacement set of decals directly from Witzco trailers along with led lights and other things. Also Pictures of the Peterbilt 379 with the sleeper removed. The next pictures will show the original 252" wheelbase and the rear driveline and suspension have been moved up approximately 32".

Here is some pictures of the Peterbilt 63" unibilt sleeper removed. Also the removed aluminum tanks. I believe they are 120 or 130 gallon aluminum tanks. Possibly even 125. I don't remember exactly.

Here is the Peterbilt with the frame shortened. Now it is time to get the 36" flat top sleeper. I found a 36" flat top off of a 2013 model. It was local and in near brand new condition.

Here is the 36" flat top sleeper. Luckily my 379 was a flat top instead of an ultra cab.

This is at the shop where I bought the sleeper. My truck is now at this shop being finished. Also some pics of a Peterbilt 389 after being run off the road and crunching the sleeper. It had to be replaced with a new one. These pics show a sleeper rear window frame. It is not an easy task installing a rear window in a sleeper.

The shop painted the sleeper before putting it on. I was not happy about that because I am putting a rear window in the sleeper along with side windows. I had to figure out exactly what size tanks to go with to make everything fit and look right. I went with a company called Alumitank. They can make any size you want. You have to pay up front and approve drawings with a signature and then they make them from scratch. I went with 90 gallon tanks with a polished finish and ordered four new aluminum straps also from Alumitank. The tanks were approx. 46" long to fit right with a 36" sleeper.

The rear window frame has been installed in the sleeper also.

The roof has also been smoothed out by removing the horns and marker lights and filling in the holes. The antenna has since been removed too.

That shop is huge!!

Definitely a huge shop. It had to be some kind of storage or distribution place at some point. They have two semi truck size paint booths and one half size. They always had some interesting trucks around. They are a fleet and trailer repair shop and do a lot of business.

They had two of these beasts at once.

Here is some current pics at the shop. It should be getting painted any day now.

The three rear windows are finally cut in. The roof has been smoothed out all the way. The fenders are in place. Maybe the only 379 with a 36" flat top that has side windows. My plan is to go with 4 black leather air ride seats and RV style center table that is removable. Possibly a center console in the back. Also plan on having a pintle hitch plate fabricated with a class 3 hitch too. I want to be able to tow anything.

Finally got the wheels that I will love. Got 10 new mirror finished Alcoas. Two 24.5 steers, four 24.5 drives for the rig and two 22.5 trailer wheels. I put four new aluminums on the lowboy already. Now all 18 wheels are aluminum.

These were the first wheels I ordered from a wheel refurbishing guy. Well they didn't have the small holes I wanted and they were machine polished so hard that the vent holes were rounded and ground down on one side of the hole only. I am still waiting for a refund too.
