Power Window Regulators

This only applies to Coronado's and Cascadia's without the vent windows in the doors. One big side window only.
The window motors are very small and were designed to operate at a peak voltage of 14+ volts. Or with truck
running. The window weight and the friction of the channels and sweeps are too much demand at just 12 volts
surface charge. The fuses will be good, the switch will be good and the motor dead.

I had replaced several of these regulators till I found out what was going on. Simple- the drivers were running
the windows up and down without the truck running. Once the word was out to power the windows with truck
running the problem slowed by 95%. I took one of the motors apart and the armature was totally caked with
brush material.

The regulators are $180.00, And can be a pain to change. I got it down to less than an hour time.
Just another Frtlnr cab problem as usual.
