I put this website together so those in the trucking industry will have an information resource to solve problems they might encounter.
I drove truck for 25 years in both construction and freight. I've driven dump trucks and trailers of all sizes, moved some equipment and hauled freight in box trailers. All my work has been local, I've never been a long haul driver. I really enjoyed what I did, but the company I worked for went bankrupt and I made a career change rather than start at the bottom of a seniority list again. I've also been involved in fire service for 30+ years and have driven pumpers, tankers, brush trucks and ambulances.
