I think this will happen-maybe slowly but it will come to be. The diesel power plant has gone as far as it will go on up dates. The emission issue is what will cause it to die.
This truck also weighs 2000 lbs less than a typical semi. The engine will only need basic sensors. These later engines are nightmares and not cost effective the overhead
to keep one running is outrageous. This week one of our new {30,000 miles on it} had a sensor go bad. It's setting at the dealer in La Grande no sensor and none can be
found through out the Freightliner system. Setting now for four days. Now that's profitable.
