Yesterday got off my duff and went to town, bought a Edelbrock AFB Knockoff as the carb once again is trash on the Chevy. The old Holley's after so much time just cannot keep them functional. ANY major vacuum leaks and the idle circuits of the Governed carbs just would NOT feed or adjust, the idle circuit for these resides in the Secondary bores for some unknown reason.

Carb on, stretched out the throttle linkage and backed off the Electric choke. Old bugger starts pretty decent currently. Then had a Known Issue with the Hydraulic Pump electric clutch, got the clutch coil off and found the bullet connector the actual issue. in removing also set it up with coil Hot wire to the TOP not off the bottom and inaccessible. All good for JY to pick it and the GMC up on the 20th.
