First i will start with pictures of my trailer. I have pulled a bunch of lowboys and this is by far the most versatile lowboy I have pulled so far.
Its a 2012 Etnyre 55 ton paver special which we had built to haul just about anything plus pavers and rollers too.
I started pulling it August 9 2012. The only other person to pull it is the Bossman and that was only to go pick it up.
As of May 2013 I had already hauled 410 loads on it. I haven't had a chance to check lately, but I have to have over 600 loads on it by now.

Beautiful trailer. I know it sure is nice when you get something brand new and the boss designates it to you and you only, so no Monday morning surprises. How bout the tractor?

The tractor is a 2000 9400i. It has a C15 in it putting out at least 650 hp. It has a few C16 parts in it. This truck pulls like nothing else I have ever driven. The truck has 1.5 million miles on it and the motor has about 550000 miles on it and it only burns one gallon of oil every 20000 miles.
The Bossman wants to put Me in a W9 but I keep telling him NO. I get into some pretty tight spots and the last thing I need is to have to look over that big hood. Now if I was driving cross country all the time I would take one in a heartbeat.
Bossman bought himself a 2007 W9 last year and handed down his 2005 W9 which he wanted me to take and I said no to another driver. His new one has a 625 HP ISX in it. Me and the boss went on a little trip together one day right after he got it. I was just driving along at my normal pace going up and down some pretty nice size hills and I looked back and he was nowhere to be seen. I hollered at him on the radio and he said he was coming. I told him i was running my normal 73 mph and i asked him how fast he was going. He said anywhere between 35 and 90 and he still couldn't keep up so I slowed down so he could catch up. The next day he was on the phone getting a new tune for his truck so he could keep up. His truck is now set at 750HP and now we are pretty much even.

Great trucks. Anytime I encounter a true lowboy driver I try to strike up a conversation with them. They all pretty much say that they won't even buy rigs with less than 500 hp stock. Sounds like your rig has got the guts, and in turn you are probably happy and calm in the driver seat. The international looks pretty good I'll say, but I'da had jump in that W9 at the chance Lol. But hey, function over fashion when it comes to that huge W9 hood.

I have scales on the tractor and trailer. The one on the trailer won't calibrate to a high enough weight though. I need to get a different gauge for it.
We permit most of our big loads and what we don't permit we usually know what the machine weighs and take the necessary detour to stay out of trouble. We max out the weight on the permit even if it doesn't need maxed out just to be sure.
I go to the scales every once in a while just to check my weights if we think the load is border line. We haul so many of the same machines over and over we just know how to load them and as I am sure You have seen in some of my pics, there is only one way to load some of the machines we haul.

Sorry it took me a few days to get back to you. I haven't been home since Monday. It has got crazy busy around here in the last couple weeks. BTW if you are willing to relocate i am positive i can get You a drag driver job.

No, we don't have any folding gooseneck trailers. I haven't seen one of those around here in a long time.
