Hello all. I found this site looking for information on Acert tuning/modifications. Seeing as how Truckers Report doesn't allow it and diesel garage has dried up I have decided to register on here. Hope to learn something new on these forums and chat it up with fellow drivers. Don't know how many actually read newbie introductions but figured I'd post to get the post count up lol.

I used to really enjoy The Diesel Garage, but for whatever reason it was poorly managed, and as you say has all but stopped in the Heavy Duty section.

This forum and the sister forum, Heavy Equipment Forum, are very well managed and hopefully it will take off like the other has.

The basic Acert engine is fine the only real problem is if the lead turbo goes bad it will take out the the secondary turbo also. I personally like
the single turbo C-15's they make plenty of power. The Acert with the twin turbo was just an emissions thing Cat tried.
If you want to discuss Cat engines start a thread under the engine section of this forum. Any body with info to add will see it there.
