In the process of doing an inframe overhaul. How is the oil pickup tube attached to the pump. The are no visable capscrews holding it to the front of the engine. Are they behind the damper or does the front cover have to be removed?
I'm a little late but the two pickup tube bolts go through the front cover, you need to pull the damper off to access them. You should pull it anyway to inspect/replace the oil pump when doing an inframe.
